weird Sunday and back to school today, finally...

I say finally, not for my sake, but for Korey's as he does not even to this day, all these years later, understand the idea of a 'weekend" . he barely gets the idea and practice of "vacation" though does know the saying "going to stay at the beach" means we will be away from home and not be going to school! He does know that when we say "we are going to "Family Cafe" for the weekend" he knows we will be staying at a hotel!

he had a pretty good night of sleep which somehow tumbles into a day of loud disruptions at school...

another wild day, though...

Ki and I went out to lunch and alittle shopping, Korey did stay home and did ok without us! he was quite upset when I got home, he wanted "Walmart" and he knew by the bags we had stopped there! uh oh! could be worse, he calmed down real quick when he saw the McD's he loves!!!

will continue tomorrow, have a headache, going to rest my eyes, lol...

it didn't last, oh well!!

it, sleep, was bliss, for the few moments it lasted yesterday, Friday, late afternoon, as Korey was up again last night for hours and his OCD did not stop! Kileigh and I had a few hours today together out of the house having lunch and doing alittle shopping with my sis and Ki's cousin!

sleep, sweet sleep...

he did it, slept for just about 8 hours straight las night! had a pretty good day at school, too! ya just never know what each day brings!

boy was I wrong...

he was up at 1a for the rest of this day... at the moment he is asleep! how he had a good day at school is beyond my exhausted comprehension, he did melt after coming back from the park, he was overwhelmed, over exhausted... a straw in a cup of soda with ice created calm out of chaos... add that to my bag, no trunk, of tricks!

lack of sleep is catching up to me...

i am cranky, patience spread real thin, oh, and as i struggle to fall asleep, Korey is and has been sleeping for 2 hours so far! actually had a good day , wonder how he manages to do that!!?

seems like the weekend would never end...

Korey was so hyper that he just kept on and on about the bus, school, raising his hand, that he did not fall asleep until 5a this day... needless to say, he missed the bus! and on me taking him to school by our truck at around 9:15a, he so was wanting to get on the bus though we didn't see one for miles and we were already in the school main office, he was so sad...

didn't get any sleep as by the time I got home, I was wound up, that 2nd wind thing! well perhaps I rested my eyes for a few moments or 2! the time flew by so quickly and Korey was soon banging on the door returning from his day, somewhat abbreviated, at school. oh, and in his communication book it was noted he showed no signs of being tired and did really well... he must be super human or something!!!

he did konk out about 7p tonight, and i am heading to my room now rendezvousing with something called sleep!

weekends are not fun!

thought Korey would be happy in having a few days off from school, the weekend! wrong! he was so unhappy, constantly asking for "school, bus" and also saying "raise hand" for when he needs to go to the bathroom! all week from any point between 1a-3a Korey has been up screaming for the bus, school whatever and has no concept that the weekend means no school and he is beyond the moon in being unconsolable! my head is pounding!
